How to use it

  1. Tap a team name to rename it.
  2. Tap + to add to a team's score, and − to fix a mistake.
  3. Track balls, strikes and outs for each batter. Three outs ends the half-inning.
  4. Move to the next inning when play stops. The scorekeeper is set up for 7 innings.
  5. Reset the game when you are ready for the next one.

How scoring works in softball

A run scores each time a runner touches home plate. Games are 7 innings. Many slow-pitch leagues start each batter on a 1-1 count to keep games moving, and use a run rule that ends a game early when one team is far ahead.
